I had a chance to preach from one of my favorite psalms a couple of weekends ago. I led an overnight retreat and then spoke at a friend's church in Dallas. The message, "Cultivating an Unhurried Heart," was rooted in Psalm 27.

What was fun was that the core metaphor of the sermon came to me just about two minutes before I stood to speak. I felt a great sense of God's generosity as I shared with this community.

I hope you'll sense the unhurried invitation of Jesus's own pace of grace in this recording.
