Is it possible to have a busy life that is also unhurried? Can our life with God and our work with God become more and more connected and fruitful? Listen to this week’s conversation with Dr. Carol Taylor, president of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, as we talk about what she’s learned in years of leadership.
In our conversation with Carol we talked quite a bit about what a growing integration of our personal spiritual formation in Christ and our roles and relationships of leadership. Carol shared about rhythms or practices in her own life that have proven helpful. She talks about how prayer and leadership have moved from a kind of “this, then that” dynamic to a more integrated one. We think you’ll enjoy her humble, joyful spirit.
Dr. Carol Taylor came to Evangel from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California, where she served as its ninth president from 2009-2013. She holds a doctorate from Florida State University and has received many “women in business” awards. But more than all of that, she is an amazing combination of “get it done” leadership blended with the tender heart of a woman steeped in the formation of her own soul.
